Creative continuity

Why dailies matter

Dailies shape how a film is experienced throughout production. They are often viewed for longer than the final grade and can establish a visual baseline that is difficult to change later. If the early image does not reflect the creative intent, it can limit decisions further down the line.

When we also grade the final film, we approach dailies as a first pass: shaping the image with the same care under tighter time constraints. That work becomes the foundation of the final grade, saving both time and budget in post-production.

Prep to finish

Why work with colorwise

We get involved early: developing the look, creating LUTs, and setting up the camera pipeline around the project’s visual intent. We can support production with remote or on-set DIT services, manage VFX and conform workflows during editorial, and carry the project through grading and final delivery.

From prep to finish, we stay connected creatively and technically so the look can evolve without compromise.
